Find out what's missing or risky in a quote, before you sign it.

Who this is for

  • You got a quote and have no way to judge whether it's fair.
  • You're about to make a large first payment.
  • The proposal is full of technical terms and you're deciding on trust alone.
  • You've been burned before and want a second opinion.

Who this isn't for

  • You've already signed and paid. A review then can only explain what went wrong.
  • You want a competing quote from me. I review it; I don't bid against them.
  • Your documents are longer than 30 pages. Message me first and I'll quote the review.

How it works

You received a quote, proposal or contract for an app, website or system, and you're not sure it's fair or complete. Send it to me. I read it line by line and send you a written review within 2 business days: what's missing, what's risky, what's priced oddly, and exactly what to ask them to change. No call needed.

  1. You send the documents

The quote, the scope of work, the contract, and anything they promised you verbally. The risk usually hides in the payment terms and in who owns what.

  2. I read it line by line

I check it against what the work really takes: what's included, what's left out, the timeline, ownership, and the costs that will land on you later.

  3. You get a written review

Within 2 business days of receiving everything: what I found, most important first, with the exact wording to ask them to change.

  4. 7 days of questions

Message me with questions while you go back to them and negotiate.

What you get

  • A written review: what's missing, what's risky, and what to change before you sign
  • Suggested wording for each change you should ask for
  • 7 days to message me questions while you negotiate

What happens next

  1. When you pay you send the documents
  2. Within 2 business days your written review
  3. For 7 days after questions by message while you negotiate

I check

  • Whether everything you need is included
  • Whether the timeline is realistic
  • Whether the price makes sense for the work
  • Who will own the code and the accounts
  • Hidden costs: hosting, licences and other services
  • Maintenance and support after launch
  • What will be charged as "extra" later
  • Who is responsible for what

Why it's worth it

The review costs a small part of a typical first payment. The real cost is the gap between what you think you're buying and what the contract actually says.

Before we start

Send every document you have: quote, scope, designs, contract, plus anything you were told that isn't written down. The difference between the two is often the first thing I find.

Questions

Can the review be in Arabic?

Yes. I review Arabic and English documents, and write the review in either language.

Will you sign an NDA?

Yes. Send it with the documents. I don't share what I read, and I never contact the company that sent you the quote.

Can we go through it on a call?

Yes, if you'd like to. Book a Quick Call after you receive the review and we'll go through it together.

What if the quote turns out to be good?

Then you sign it with confidence, knowing why it's good. That happens often, and it's worth knowing too.
